What is Depanel
Depanel is a panel you install on your server to publish and manage applications without having to memorize commands. It brings together, on a single screen:
- Apps and sites: from Git, a Docker image, a Docker Compose or a
.zippackage; - Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis and Valkey, with scheduled backups;
- Domains with HTTPS: the certificate is issued and renewed on its own;
- Servers: as many as you want, with metrics, logs, terminal and alerts;
- Proxmox (optional): VMs, dedicated server hardware, backups and network;
- Depanel Agent (optional): use the panel by chatting, with your own AI key.
Who it is for
Section titled “Who it is for”- People with a VPS or a dedicated server who want to put systems online without becoming Docker experts.
- Teams who want one place for apps, databases, domains and servers, with permissions and auditing.
- People who use Proxmox and want to manage the VMs and the apps inside them in the same panel.
How it works, in one sentence
Section titled “How it works, in one sentence”The panel runs on your server and talks to a lightweight agent on each machine. The agent takes care of Docker and the proxy (Traefik) on that machine; the panel says what to do and shows what is happening.
