Volumes and files
Everything a container writes disappears when it is recreated — unless it is in a volume.
| Type | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Volume (name) | the default: Docker keeps the data. E.g. uploads → /app/uploads |
| Machine folder (Pasta da máquina) | absolute path on the server. Requires the admin role, because it gives access to the machine’s disk |
| File (Arquivo) | a configuration file written by the panel and mounted in the container (e.g. nginx.conf) |
File manager
Section titled “File manager”On the machine’s page, each container’s … menu has Files (Arquivos): you can browse, upload and download files from the volumes in the browser — useful for checking an upload or replacing a configuration file.
