Virtual machines

In Proxmox → New VM (Proxmox → Nova VM), choose a template (modelo: a template with cloud-init), the size and the network. The panel:

  1. clones the template;
  2. adjusts CPU, memory, disk and cloud-init;
  3. starts the VM and waits for the system to boot;
  4. installs the Depanel agent;
  5. the VM shows up in Machines (Máquinas), ready to receive apps.

Each step is shown on the screen. If one fails, the panel undoes what it created.

You can also create the VM in the middle of a project’s flow, when you choose “a new VM” as the destination.

On each VM’s page:

  • start, shut down and restart;
  • console in the browser;
  • snapshots (create, roll back and delete);
  • backups (now or scheduled) and restore;
  • the VM’s firewall (rules and policy);
  • adjust CPU, memory and disk;
  • usage charts.
