Projects and environments
A project represents one of your systems — for example “Online store” or “Company website”. Inside it are the services (apps, databases, sites) that make the system work.
Create a project
Section titled “Create a project”In Projects → New project (Projetos → Novo projeto), give it a name, a short description and a color. The project starts with the production (produção) environment.
Environments
Section titled “Environments”Environments are versions of the same project: production, staging, testing… Each environment has its own services and its own variables. That way you test a change in staging without touching production.
A service can be moved to another environment (or project). Its variables and secrets go with it, and the service is redeployed if it was already online.
Where it runs
Section titled “Where it runs”Each environment can have a default machine (“Where it runs” (Onde roda)). New services go to it, but you can choose another machine when creating each service.
Folders and filters
Section titled “Folders and filters”With many projects, organize them into folders and use the filters and the search at the top of the lists. The global search
(Ctrl+K or ⌘K) takes you straight to any project, service, machine or domain.
